Questions are commonly raised about Dynamo approaches for establishing design geometry as the basis for Revit documentation. This presentation will challenge the traditional understanding of digital design modeling and propose a requisite shift of strategy to produce better results. Various methods for instantiating Revit geometry will be provided, including advantages and disadvantages of each. A particular emphasis will be placed on how early stage considerations for parametric modeling help pave the way for improved software interoperability, and ultimately facilitate a more simultaneous and seamless design and delivery process.
